2022: ![[macOS Ventura minimum requirements.png]] [macOS Monterey](https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT212551) (2021) required a MacBook Pro or Air from 2015, so they "jumped" a year recently for Pro, and two for the Air. Similarly, the iMac used to be 2015 minimum. Most extreme, the Mac Pro used to be 2013. Check in a year or two how fast those requirements move up. Is Apply trying to bring planned obsolence to the Mac's by pushing them to have latest hardware requirements to get OS updates?
