Leadership is all about embedding the capacity for **greatness** in people and organizations.
Leadership that is decoupled from the personality of the leader, without giving orders and instead describing **intent**, inspires greatness in others.
The leader’s job is then only to check the followers’ own suggestions for **competence** and **clarity**.
You do that by moving authority to where the information is and giving control: Describe the Why (problems) and the What (incl. freedoms and constraints), without addressing the How (solutions).
As a leader, it is not your job to find solutions, instead it is your mission to describe problems and provide guardrails and support for your followers to solve those problems - which is their job.
